Missouri Preservation announced in July of this year that the Superior Well Ticket Office building had been designated as one of the 2015 Places in Peril, formerly “Most Endangered Historic Places” list. A public announcement was made during the “Unhappy Hour” on Friday, July 24 in St. Louis, Missouri.
The list of Missouri’s Places in Peril is announced annually to call attention to threatened historic resources in Missouri. Nominations are solicited from citizens statewide and the properties chosen are considered endangered for a variety of reasons, including deterioration, neglect, encroachment, potential demolition or a combination of threats.
